I caught this humorous article in the Food Section of the SF Chronicle last week. What are some of the things you would like to see more of in the dining
world? What are some of the things you could do away with in 2009? I had to chuckle at the cheekiness of some of the comments but I am definitely guilty of thinking a few of these things!
This was my favorite part of the article:
"How about banning the obnoxious practice of not seating someone until
their entire party arrives? It seems to us that hungry, thirsty people,
forced to wait for a late friend, tend to order more drinks and
appetizers when they're sitting at a table. And how about lightening up
that uninformed and haughty (now there's a great combo) attitude at the
host stand? It's a turnoff."
