Saigon Sandwiches

Saigon
The best kept secret for Vietnamese sandwiches is Saigon Sandwiches in the Tenderloin. You can get a cheap Vietnamese sandwich just about anywhere on Larkin but Saigon does it the best. It’s a little hole in the wall, small enough to stand inside order and watch while the little ladies make your sandwich. Did I also mention how cheap it is? $3.00 a pop. It was easy enough to spring for two! Choose from pork or chicken and easy on the peppers! I also like the liver but that might be an acquired taste. Prepare to go to Saigon during the day. Their hours are pretty slim and not really open for dinner time. I have only found one other Vietnamese sandwich shop in the Sunset that beats Saigon! The review on that place is still to come….
