Isa

For those of you that missed my original post on Isa, just wanted to send a reminder about this awesome neighborhood restaurant. Isa used to be in my top 5 restaurants but has recently been bumped by the ever so popular Delfina and SPQR. I was hanging with my friend Kim in her hood and stumbled onto Isa since Bistro Aix was so crowded. I often forget that Isa offers a great 2 course prix fixe menu Monday-Thursday for $24.95. There’s no early bird special here, the pricing is good all night!

walnuts, and blue cheese, honey spiced local calamari, or hamachi ceviche. For 2nd course options, they offer one of my favorite dishes, the roasted Rocky Jr. chicken, flat iron steak, or baked butterfish with truffles. Here’s my juicy steak with potatoes and squash and the half eaten butterfish! It was super rich and buttery with a soft hint of truffles.

Isa is a great neighborhood place to celebrate a special occasion or for a relaxed weeknight dinner.
