Tu Lan

I’ve driven by Tu Lan before and noticed the enormous line outside at
all times of the day and also that it is conveniently located on "crack
alley." This is definitely not the best place to park your car folks!
Upon entering, it seems a bit claustrophobic but head to the back or
upstairs for a more civilized dining experience.

I would
definitely recommend going with a small group so you can try out all
the tasty dishes. For two, we ordered way too much and if I could have
made some room on the dessert shelf, I would have gone back at it. But
alas, we left enough food to feed the homeless people outside. Best
dishes, #1 imperial rolls – these fried rolls are filled with pork and
vermicelli and so tasty! Also another winner #15 Pork kebab with
vermicelli noodles. To me, meat and noodles should be in a soup but
there’s this spicy and a little sweet dressing that you poor over that
just makes everything all good.

On the front of the menu,
you’ll notice a sketch of Julia Child and what she ordered when she
visited. Stick with her menu and you can’t go wrong!  This place
definitely doesn’t take the cake for ambiance and location but I can
already feel myself craving this food and having to make the trip back
down.
