Sushi Rock

I needed a place showing the Yankees-Boston game and I wanted sushi. A sushi sports bar…hmm…Sushi Rock! Although they’ve grown to 3 locations in SF, their sushi is pretty mediocre. I’d rather go to Wasabi and Ginger or Nara but I was desperate to watch the game and not have to be at a sports bar with greasy food.

Good things about "The Rock"
1. They deliver
2. They have a wide variety of rolls
3. They often play my favorite radio station 92.7 PARTY
4. They have 3 plasmas and if there are no sports on, they are known to play Food Network!
5. Free miso soup, seaweed salad, and ice cream!

Bad things about "The Rock"
1. It’s good for groups. Now this could be a plus, however, when there’s constant banging from the sake bombs at the table behind you, it can be quite disruptive.
2. The rice is sticky. Sushi chefs, please learn how to make sushi rice.
3. They are open late on Friday and Saturday nights. This should say something in itself.
