Myth

Love, Love, Love Myth! I’ve been here a dozen times since they’ve
opened and keep going back. I bring family, I bring friends, I bring
clients. It’s always a great dining experience.

First off, the
interior and ambience is fantastic. I love the interior decor along
with the fabrication on all the furniture. There’s a good size bar so
you can always grab a quick drink and/or food at the bar. Book early
for a reservation as they are hard to come by!

I usually stick
with my favorites: the sweetbread salad, scallops, steak frites, duck,
or lamb. It’s all good! The pastas are fantastic, especially anything
with truffle or foie gras. The menu changes slightly from season to
season but all their signature dishes usually stay on the menu. They
also offer appetizer or entree size portions for many dishes so it’s a
great place to share and try new things!

The sommelier, Alex,
is phenomenal. He really knows his wine and is great about finding the
right bottle for each occasion. I’ve had such great wine there, I’ve
gone to K&L Wines to buy some for my own personal collection. Alex
seems to also be very well known in the restaurant/wine circuit so he’s
a great person for Myth.

All great things to say about the Myth…just wish I could get a reservation a little easier sometimes :)

One update on Myth, unfortunately they are going through a lot of changes. The owners are selling the restaurant and because of it, the chef Sean O-Brien and sommelier have since put in their 2 weeks. Not sure what this will mean for the future…
